Green Pepper Sauce From Africa: Recipe Video

A super easy recipe to make green pepper sauce with very few ingredients that you always have in your kitchen. The recipe comes to you from Ghana.

As you will see in the video, nothing is easier than making a hot pepper sauce like this recipe.

Take some green peppers, chopped onions, chopped ginger, some garlic cloves, and some water. Put everything in a blender and run it until the peppers get fully crushed.

Heat some oil in a pan, add the pepper mixture along with some salt. Cook for 3 minutes, and the sauce is ready.

Wow!

The simplicity of everything here is fantastic. However, I would have loved to get some info on how this sauce is used in African cuisine.

There is no special name for the sauce in the video. It is just referred to as “Green Pepper Sauce.” Anyway, we have a unique recipe for green pepper sauce. I am grateful.

Since the sauce gets cooked in oil, I guess it can be kept in the fridge for a few days.

The type of peppers used in the sauce will determine how good it is. Perhaps the peppers need to be really hot, but one can try this sauce with any locally available peppers. I will.
